In commemoration of the International Day of Human Rights, the Ministry of Women, Family Affairs and Human Rights Development showcased its impact during the year 2024.
The Minister of the Ministry of Women, Family Affairs, and Human Rights Development of Soutwest State, Mrs. Nasra Aweys Sheekh huseen, who spoke at the event, emphasized the importance of the World Human Rights Day. She said:
“Indeed, our Noble Quran covers all rights, and it requires us that everyone should start from their home with rights. As a Ministry, we are working hard to protect the rights of our society.”
“Our esteemed President, Mr. Abdikasis Hassan Mohamed, has encouraged us to serve our community with sincerity and to protect their rights. This is something everyone is expected to uphold.”
